Се родил во Охрид пред многу лета

Предодреден бил за мисија света.

Учел за писменоста што верата ја враќа

учители му биле солунските браќа.

 

Ја ширел писменоста како светлина во ноќ,

да учи да твори тој имал моќ.

Моравија ,Панонија се два негови бола

ја создал и Охридската книжевна школа.

 

Азбука напишал од темнина спас

азбука создал не просветлил и нас.

Народ тој учел,народ намачен беден

но за знаење и ука секогаш жеден.

 

Денес твоето име го славиме ние,

денес камбаната за тебе бие.
